Nuestro inicio
With the need and desire to find other artists of Latinx origin, who are creating in the state of Iowa. I gave myself the task of looking for creators through my walks through different Latino festivals, that's how I met Seso, Johamy, and Isabella. I knew it was important since we are few and share the same obstacles as a creative minority.
In November 2021 we collaborated on the Dia de Muertos Altar for the City of Iowa City. We knew that together we could help each other, and we decided to continue collaborating as a Collective, we continued to look for more Latinex creative artists, and we found Richard, and we formed the Colectivo Luchart.
Con la necesidad y el deseo de encontrar otros artistas de origen Latinx, que estén creando en el estado de Iowa. Me di a la tarea de buscar creadores a través de mis andanzas por diferentes festivales latinos, así fue como conocí a Seso, Johamy e Isabella. Sabía que era importante ya que somos pocos y compartimos los mismos obstáculos como una minoría creativa.
En noviembre de 2021 colaboramos juntos en el Altar del Día de Muertos para la Ciudad de Iowa City. Sabíamos que juntos podíamos ayudarnos, y decidimos seguir colaborando como Colectivo, seguimos buscando más artistas creativos Latinex, y encontramos a Richard, y formamos el Colectivo Luchart
